| Story | When I started in this sport, I was an older kid who was a bit taller than the other kids who started kayaking, so the entry level boats that my club had didn't fit me properly. Despite that, I kept persevering through that adversity and every time I tipped, I just got right back into my boat. That same year, I went to my first B.C Cup and saw the competitive side of the sport and fell in love with the atmosphere. I wouldn't be where I am now had I not persevered through the beginning stages of my sport. |
